Map Description

In 1851, London was the largest city in the world and the political, financial, and commercial center of the British Empire. That year the city hosted the Great Exhibition in the Crystal Palace, showcasing industrial innovation and symbolizing Britain’s global influence during the Victorian era.

Engraved outlined hand color detailed plan of Paris. Includes an ornamental cartouche, street names, buildings, churches, bridges, parks, lists of public places and alphabetical list of streets.
